BACKGROUND AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Pamela is an experienced trainer, facilitator, coach and management consultant. She has worked with diverse groups globally in the Corporate, N.G.O and Government sectors for over 25 years, both as an employee and now self-employed at Training Yard Consultants Limited. Her area of expertise is leadership & self – development and organizational performance improvement programs, including behavioral and attitude change. Pamela is an associate trainer with various organizations, including African Women in Agricultural Research Development (AWARD) and U facilitate based in the US. She worked in a multinational bank for 11 years where she rose up the ranks to Branch management. In the process she discovered her life purpose and made a bold major shift to management consultancy, specializing in Leadership, mentoring and coaching today. Before starting her own firm, she had the good fortune of working for Dale Carnegie as the head of consultancy & training assistant, a role that set her up on a great trajectory towards her journey of awakening people’s potential across the globe. She has been training and facilitating for over twenty-five years, as well as coaching formally for over a decade now across various sectors and industries at all levels including senior leadership teams.

Pamela believes that every individual is naturally creative, resourceful and whole. Therefore, her approach largely entails partnering with clients to design solutions that address their specific needs. This approach enables clients to experience interventions as a powerful tool for unlocking challenging/ difficult situations and tap into their hidden inner potential/power while coming up with effective, authentic, innovative solutions. She begins by building rapport and engaging the client in identifying their goal, followed by a process of visualizing and designing the desired solution. Then she partners with the client to deliver and implement the co-designed solution. She supports, challenges and acts as a ‘mirror’ for the client, helping in deriving insights and learning throughout the journey. She also offers the option of selecting a leadership assessment tool as part of the intervention for heightened self-awareness to enhance learning. A follow up process is available to support the client in horning, operationalizing and institutionalizing learning/skills. She has observed clients make major advances at both professional and personal levels, apply learning within their organizations and beyond successfully, and go through transformation as they scale their leadership consciously, by boldly companioning their values/ideas to catalyze change and ultimately make successful paradigm shifts.
